I'm in the same boat. I use NTL as my ISP but can't get cable in this area
but the offer they offer atm is such a bargin that I had to take it up. I
am thinking about changing to ADSL when I get a couple of wage packets.

Avoid using BT's ADSL at all cost. It's a right nightmare from what I have
heard. You might be better trying Telewests 'BlueYonder' if it is
available or 'Madasafish'. The latter is really great but BlueYonder is
very cheap atm.

BT are offering a 'budget' ADSL connection and you really are getting what
you pay for. In my oppinion BT should be put in the same boat as
MicroShaft and then sunk!

If you have an ethernet card then you are half way there. The Mediator
works fine with an ethernet card and an etherenet modem but I don't know if
the other ethernet solutions work any better or worse. I am looking
forward to my sudden increase in wages (commision from computer products
sold at a new store I am working for) so maybe I'll take up the offer.

Regards
